Calculation 4: Probability of Support = Calculation 2 Divided by Calculation 3
Divide the number you found in Calculation 2 by the number you found in Calculation 3. In this case, it would be 38 divided by 50 which equals .76 or 76%. The calculation of the probability for the policy analyzed in the Prince Chart in the example indicates that there is a 76% chance that tuition rates will increase. In other words, this forecast indicates that the chances are quite high that the rates will increase.
