Weather is
changes daily according to the condition of the atmosphere. Some days the weather is pleasant and some
days it is not. Factors such as the movement of air masses or the amount of
water vapor in the air just to name a few contribute to these changes. But at
what point does the weather conditions become harmful that action must be taken
to save one’s life. Severe weather such
as thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes or blizzards can cause damage to ones
property and unfortunately to ones life.
Your are to work in groups of
3-4 and create a power point presentation on a severe weather condition of your
choice to educate your classmates on factors that causes the condition and what
are some safety measures that can be taken if one is caught in a severe weather
condition. Identify public policies that
address the safety issues related to severe weather in your community.
