What do you really know about
having a healthy heart?
Introduction - Health is generally defined as the condition of being sound
in body, mind and spirit. Therefore you are free of physical disease and pain. Currently
in the United States there is a wide spread social problem affecting many
people currently living in
Task- You will write a one page typed report on realistic thoughts and ideas
of you and your peers about what good health looks like. Your report will include
one bar graph on necessary food intake for a healthy body and one bar graph on cardio
vascular exercise necessary for a healthy heart. You will also give at least a three minute oral
presentation on your report. To help you organize your thoughts, complete the
six Public Policy worksheets.
Process: Your report must contain 50% of its information from factual
material that you have researched from magazine articles, the internet, and the
newspaper. Additionally you may use educational forms or media that you will be
able to show proof of your research. (examples: taped
video or televised news story)
