and Alcohol abuse is becoming rampant among teens in the

have been hired as consultants by the Department of Education to educate teens
about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. You are to create a cool,
informative campaign that teens can relate to combat this serious problem!
You will work in investigative teams consisting of
three or four researchers! As part of
your team, you will conduct research into the reasons teens
abuse drugs and alcohol using the public library, online resources, newspapers,
magazines, statistics, case studies, surveys and interviews.
You
will identify current policies that address the issue of teen drug and alcohol
abuse in schools, critique their effectiveness, and create your own Power-Point
campaign to combat the problem and educate your peers!
You
will explore the causes of drug and alcohol use, the extent of the problem, and
possible solutions. You and your fellow researchers will design your
Power-Point to create awareness about the problems and then you will present
your findings and recommendations to the class!
You
will use the PPA method to define the social problem and create a viable
