As you all know, we have recently been reading “A Child Called It” by Dave Pelzer, an engrossing memoir that exposes the horrific experiences involved with child abuse.  Throughout the story we questioned why and how David could be subjected to such harsh treatment.  In addition, we discussed how important it is that we speak out against child abuse and abuse of any kind.  As informed readers that have engaged closely with the subject of child abuse in “A Child Called It” we are responsible for being advocates against child abuse.
