TIPS Publish or Perish project

It is said "Publish or Perish !"

To what extent does publication of ideas or mathematical precepts guarantee or legitimize authenticity of them and credit the author as creator?

Within the current copyright laws, is there an assurance that the ideas or principles published by a scientist or mathematician are correct?

Does copyright assure that the ideas will be accredited solely to the publishing writer?

Why, "Yes" or if "No", should the laws be changed?
