Introduction

You walk into your school building one morning and you were greeted by two school safety officers who informed you that you had to pass through a newly installed metal detector.  You did so without hesitation.  You went upstairs only to see teams of officers on each floor.  Your school has just assumed the look of an armed camp!  Of course you are also aware of that violence has escalated in the building putting fear into the teachers and students alike; but do we need cops in the school buildings?
