INTRODUCTION

 

 America has a proud history of welcoming “the tired, the poor, the huddled, masses yearning to breathe free.” Immigrants built America. Unless you are a Native American, you yourself, or an ancestor of yours, is an immigrant. In spite of the fact that immigration is a fundamental characteristic of this nation, it has been the source of much debate and discord. Some say that immigrants pose an enormous drain on our national resources, while others argue that immigrants are crucial to our economic growth. You are an economic analyst. Research on the advantages and disadvantages of immigration in our country. Does immigration cause more harm than good in our country?

 

 

TASK

 

1. Write a five-page report on your findings about the costs and benefits of immigration in our country.

 

2. Give an oral presentation on your findings.
