issue of safety and security within our own borders became a focal point for
government officials and citizens alike, especially hear in New

As a group you will create a presentation that
addresses the problem of adequate security to prevent terrorism in

Your project will consist of two parts; an oral presentation and a 2 page written report.
For the oral report each person
in the group will answer and present one of the following questions:
1.Define and describe the problem of terrorism and bioterrorism.
2.Why is bioterrorism considered a problem for

and State?
3.What is the existing public policy on terrorism and
bioterrorism?
(include information on the following:
protecting
the reservoirs, nuclear power plants,
City infrastructure,
the ability of hospitals and doctors to
handle mass casualties in case of an attack)
4.What public policy solution would you implement?
(You should develop
at least 3 solutions)
5.The 5th person will report on the public policy
solution
chosen
by the group to be the best.
For the written report, each of
you will write a 2-3 page paper on the problem and solutions to the threat of
bioterrorism.
