ACID RAIN

INTRODUCTION

There are many environmental issues that affect our planet.  As an active member of your environmental club you are both aware and concern about the issues concerning acid rain.  You and your fellow club members have attended different talks, given by private organizations, about acid rain.  Acid rain can be cited as one of the most important environmental problems of all.  It is a very serious problem that, although some progress has been made in reducing it, large parts of U.S and Canada are affected by it.  It is the invisible enemy, acid rain cannot be seen but it is highly destructive.  Scientists have been studying the causes of acid rain for sometime now, but their findings differ.  At the same time, there is some debate among business and policy makers over ways of preventing and /or reducing acid rain.  You want your children to have the privilege of living in this beautiful planet, and you want your peers to become aware of the existing environmental problems that might endanger your vision of an environmental saved planet.
