Teenage Pregnancy

Your best friend, Tina has always been number one in your high school class.  No matter what the subject, whether a quiz or a test or how little she studied, she constantly got the top grade.  She wasn't sure if she would major in pre-med or law when she went to college, but she knew it would be one or the other.  Besides the great grades, she was one of the prettiest girls in the school with a great looking boyfriend.  She really seemed to have everything going for her.

That's why it was so surprising to see her crying this morning before class.  "What's wrong"? After finally getting her to confide in you, you were shocked to hear the reason.  Tina was pregnant.  "You'd think I would have learned.  The same thing happened to my cousin", she said.  "She was sure she'd be able to raise the kid and finish school, but it became too much and she dropped out.  Now it will happen to me too."

As a writer for your school newspaper, you've decided to write an article for the next edition about the relationship between teenage pregnancy and dropping out of school.  You will also present a PowerPoint presentation on teenage pregnancy to your Hygiene class.  After a conversation with the faculty advisor you've put together an outline of the project:
