You are a reporter working for the daily sun. You wake up one morning and find yourself in
17th century
Each group will be assigned a particular estate of the French
government. At the end of the webquest you will have:
1. Completed all worksheets from the Social Studies TIPS
PPA, and steps one through six as a group.
Hand in all work in this section together with a title and content page.
2. Completed a two page typewritten group report. This report must explain the social problems
in your estate during the time of Louis XIV and how your king dealt with these particular problems.
This report must include a cite page, cover and title page.
3. Completed your own editorial for the Sunday sun. This editorial (An article in a publication
expressing an opinion) will be one type written page. According to the estate you are in, you will
write an editorial expressing your like or dislike of
Louis XIV, and how his policy of absolutism helped or hurt the members of your
estate? This assignment must include a
picture off the web that helps express your opinion.
4. completed your
own a 3-5 page report comparing Louis XIV to Louis XVI. why
was Louis XIV able to keep absolute power and Louis the XVI not. this paper must include a cite, cover and title page. Make
sure to cite at least four websites in the final comparative paper. Also make
sure to use at least one cite not listed on this page.

task one: 25%:
based on the completion of all worksheets, ability to work as a member of a

to use the public policy analysis.
task two: 20%: based on
ability to work as a group, discuss and analyze social problems and the king's
policy of absolutism.
task three: 25%: based on
completion and creativity of your editorial piece.
task four: 30%: based on
completion of your 3-5 page comparison of Louis XIV to Louis XVI.
For all tasks: make sure they are in your own words. Plagarism will be
penalized with a failing grade.
