ENERGY FOR THE NATION

WEBQUEST

WAR!!!

TO FIGHT OR NOT TO FIGHT!

YOU ARE AN ANTI-WAR ACTIVIST

The U.S.A. has declared war on Iraq:

You are to gather facts and information to convince a covert

anti-war and alien coalition not to destroy the U.S.  This organization believes the attack on Iraq is unfair. They believe the U.S. wants to exploit oil and continue depleting Fossil Fuel sources.

An antiwar group asked the aliens who have been living undercover in the world since the 1900s to stop the U.S. A.  The aliens have been monitoring the planet’s activity to intervene should global nuclear war threaten life on earth.  Only a small group of intellectual activists know they are here.

The group is seeking YOUR HELP!

The aliens are standing by and awaiting your                      completion of this web quest.

To complete this assignment, you must convince the United

States Congress and President Bush that there are better

and effective public policies as evidence that alternative energy

sources if developed will help to meet the nation’s demand for fuel and energy.

Is the use of fossil fuels damaging the environment and causing health problems?

Can you convince this coalition that the U.S. is

      pursuing new forms of energy?
