Web quest: Endangered species

 

Power Point: How could we use public politics in order to conserve animal species in danger of extinction?


 

 


Introduction

 

The man is not the only intelligent individual of the universe. If there is life on other stars, and the people of that distant world try to communicate with us, they probably will send a message to us.

Recent data inform many species are in danger of extinction, and it is a reality that the human beings are the main cause of the disappearance of animals and plants of the earth. 

In the course of their history men have manipulated, used and exploited the animal’s kingdom, without ever questioning their possible suffering and consequences.  They have done this without adopting measured in order to avoid it or palliate it.

However, in spite of the international recognition of the legitimate rights of the animal to live and die naturally, they continue being exploited and exterminated by diversion, sport, vanity, snobbery and irresponsibility.

How can we use public policy in order to conserve these species, animal in danger of extinction?

We will investigate the causes, the consequences that originate this problem and the political solutions that are carried out in our world in order to solve this problem.

 


 

 


Procedure

 

Each student will be an investigator of this matter: Each report may include a list of animals that are currently on the "endangered species list".

On one segment of the report he/she selects an animal that is now extinct or on "endangered list". Provide enough information on the animal so that others reading the report will know basic information about the animal (i.e. where did the animal live, what did it eat, why kind of animal was it, etc.) Address the issues of how long ago this species was alive, and why it is no longer living here on the earth.

Lastly, he/she will prepare a list of what could cause animals to become endangered and a list of what kinds of things can be done to prevent other animals from becoming extinct in the future.

 
 

 

 



TASK


As an expert in Environmental Science your task will be to prepare a research document based on writing a  report containing three separate segments:
 
1)The first segment will be to provide a definition of what it means to be an endangered species
 
2) Your report must include:


a) -Previous and present policies related to this matter


b) You will debate in-group each policy based on a social-economic view

 

 


 


Process:

 

1.  I will divide the class into 7 groups.  Each group will have at least 4 members. Within your group choose a leader, recorder, timekeeper, and a presenter. All the students will play important roles  in his/ her group.


For example, the leader will assign certain duties, such as who will be responsible to investigate the  Internet sites regarding specific endangered species. 


2.  Students will begin research to find the current policy on the topic. To prepare for the debate, students will go to the internet, library, or other resources that they discussed among themselves and find articles that will prepare them for the debate. They will save the information on their computer and isolate relevant rules . 


3.  Students will use the resource section to find information and make predictions 


4-Students will present information in a new policy statement and summarize the results. 
 
5-Once the survey has been completed, members of the group will discuss key points that they want presented to help  support their argument. Also, they will write up the results, this will include creating graphs , charts, and present the results.

Conclusion

 
The conservation of the ecosystem plays a central role in the life of  new animals  and another living things.
 
 " Recent Studies point out a connection between the direct and indirect of human activities and  animal’s  kingdom to endangered
 
Nowadays, it is made necessary to require that all the nations of the world adopt norms of based to protect  the environment . They should emit laws in order to supervising affected areas and species in danger, as well as programs of environmental regulations directed to protection of the ecosystem in general

 

The nature is full of life and the life is an opportunity, the life is beauty .We most protect our surroundings
