Introduction
Do you remember a time in
history when human beings were being bought and sold? Many races of people were bought, traded, sold and used as a free
private labor force. Are adults and
children still sold, traded, and used as a free private labor force in the year
2000? Does modern day slavery still
exist?
Task
Your mission should you choose to accept it is to create a Microsoft Power Point slide show presentation. This presentation should be related to your Public Policy and Analysis step. You must also answer the question that follows. All of this information must be represented in your slide(s).
Step 1 Define the problem
Question = what is Modern Day Slavery?
Give an example of a type of slavery that exists today.
Step 2 Gather Evidence
Question= How do we know it exists? Where are the slaves of today
being kept? What kinds of things are they being made to do?
Step 3 Identify the causes
Question=
Why is their slavery?
What is the slavery a result of? Why is this informal institution allowed
to exist?
Step 4 Evaluate a policy
Question=What have the authorities done to fix this problem?
Step 5 Develop solutions
Question=
What kinds of solutions can we develop to solve this
problem?
Step 6 Select the best solution
Question=What are the best solutions to this problem? Why?
Step 7 Benefits& Costs
Question (s) = What are the consequences of the policy that we have created? What part of the society will it affect? List three ways this society will be affected by this policy. List three important costs of this policy.
Steps

2. Design and create your Microsoft Power Point Slide and apply the
text.
3. Add special affects and graphics to your slide.
4. Add sound to your slide.
