·        Students who bully others are often from homes that use physical punishment

·        Students who bully others need to feel powerful and in control

·        P.S. 186 has not developed a strong, clear policy against bullying

·        P.S. 186 reduced the number of teachers assigned to supervising the playground and the hallways
