Readability

Graphics and colors allow for easy readability.  There are no more than 7 words per bullet.

Content

Accuracy

Covers topic completely and in depth. All content throughout presentation is accurate. There are no factual errors.

Includes essential information. Most of the content is accurate but there is one piece of information that might be inaccurate.

Includes some essential information. The content is generally accurate, but one piece of information is clearly flawed or inaccurate.

Includes little essential information. Content is typically confusing or contains more than one factual error.

Presentation

Presentation answers key information about college as outlined in the research guide. Presenter can expand on facts during presentation.

Presentation answers all key questions. Presenter has some difficulty expanding facts.

Presentation answers most key questions. The presenter has difficulty expanding facts.

Presentation answers few key questions and the presenter cannot expand on facts.

Graphics

All graphics are attractive and support the topic of the presentation. Minimum one image per slide.

A few graphics are not attractive but all support the content of the presentation.

Spelling and Grammar

Oral Presentation Skills

Presented the material with confidence, enthusiasm, proper voice projection, good eye contact, appropriate language, and clear delivery.

Presenter had many difficulties presenting material. Some difficulty communicating ideas, due to voice projection, lack of preparation, or incomplete work.

Presenter was unable to complete presentation before the class. Great difficulty communicating ideas. Poor voice projection. Little preparation or incomplete work.
