GRADUATION RATES

 

 

INTRODUCTION

You have recently been hired by a non-profit organization whose goal is to study ways to improve graduation rates in New York City public schools.  This organization has decided to allow you to present your findings at an upcoming board meeting.

 

 

THE TASK

Your task is to analyze the problem of low graduation rates in New York City public schools using Public Policy Analysis (PPA) steps and develop a power point presentation accompanied by a brief oral presentation.

Your teacher will arrange you into groups of four in order to complete following tasks below

CONCLUSION

Analyzing data is a great way to observe trends, research causes surrounding various issues and effectively propose solutions that may change the outcome of an important social issue. Describe how has this web quest changed your impression of the low graduation rates in New York City and how best to combat this issue.
