Introduction:
It has come to our attention that weak skills in basic grammar are a serious problem in our school. In order to achieve our school wide goal of increasing proficiency levels in ELA by .50, we need to improve basic grammar skills.
Congratulations! Your class has been selected to teach the other sixth graders some basic grammar skills.
Task:
You will work in groups of 4 to create a poster that will teach your fellow students how to properly use a specific grammar skill. You will also create a 5 question quiz that will assess how well your students have learned the lesson.
Group 1: Nouns and Pronouns
Group 2: Verbs and Adverbs
Group 3: Adjectives
Group 4: Interjections and Conjunctions
