Suicide Among American High School Teenagers
The Introduction:
In the play “Romeo and Juliet” By William Shakespeare, the main characters, Romeo and Juliet, chose death rather than give up their love for one another.Teen suicide has been a problem for years and continues to be a problem today.“For youth between the ages of 10 and 24, suicide is the third leading cause of death. It results in approximately 4600 lives lost each.” http://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pub/youth_suicide.htmlYour class has been selected to investigate into ways that we as student peers can prevent suicide today among American Teenagers today.
The Task:
Your job as student peers is to researchon your own, using the given online resources as well as other reliable sources, ways to prevent suicide among American high school teenagers. After the completion of your research, using the Public Policy Analyst you will develop specific suggestions for the policies that deal with teen suicide, you will be creating a poster board to present to the class your findings.

The Conclusion
Suicide among American Teens is a problem that continues to exist. Many teens are choosing death or to take their own lives rather than to confront the problems they may be having. By completing this web quest and addressing the parts of the PPA, you were able to construct a poster presentable to your peers that is geared towards decreasing Teen Suicide Rates.
