Introduction:

The French Revolution erupted in 1789. It was the result of the combination of many social, political and economic problems occurring in France at the time. As an advisor to the king, it is your job to examine those problems and make policy recommendations. Keep in mind that you have heard the rumors of rebellion coming from the 3rd Estate. Many historians believe that by neglecting the needs of the masses, King Louis XVI and the 1st and 2nd Estates perpetuated one of the bloodiest revolutions in history. Can you find a way to prevent it?

Task:

Investigate the causes of the French Revolution. Using the GHPPA process, you and your partner are to collect information and evaluate the social conditions in France prior to the revolution. Once you have gathered the information, you are to create a presentation that illustrates at least three of the conditions (the three that you and your partner feel were most significant). The Glogster is to include images as well as an attractive document outlining the social conditions in France that will lead to the revolution.
