Problems students face with Cyber Bullying
Nowadays,
people can communicate in a variety of different ways. You have things such as
computers and cell phones and other electronic devices that can be used to
communicate with people. Unfortunately, this type of communication is also
being used for what is call cyber bullying. Here is an article about cyber
bullying with examples of student that have been affected by this problem. http://www.cyberbullying.us/cyberbullying_fact_sheet.pdf
The government officials are now trying to take
steps to try to combat this increasing problem. There is a lot of talk lately
about cyber bullying and how to stop it. It is becoming a very big problem
among high school students and it needs to be addressed. Our principle has
asked our class to advise him on how we can address this problem.
You will be divided into groups of 4. The group will
be responsible for creating a public policy analyst about cyber bullying. The
group will then take the PPA and enter the information in a PowerPoint
presentation to be presented orally to the class.
Each member will be responsible for a part of the
assignment. 1- Writer (This person will help gather the information and record
it on the PPA.) 2- Researcher (This person will research the topic with the
links provided in the resources section and provide information to be used.) 3-
PowerPoint creator (This person will be responsible for creating the PowerPoint
presentation with the information that is provided.) 4-Reporter (This person will be responsible
for the oral reporting of the PowerPoint presentation.
Each member is responsible for helping the other
members in the group with their section.
The first of the process would be to select which
member is going to do what part.
Then the group will create a Public Policy Analyst
together. There are 6 steps that each group should work on together. Click on
the link for each section to be completed.
At this point, the researcher should be gathering information to enter
into the PPA.
