Fear of Participating in Socially Conscious Activities

Introduction:
Addressing social issues has become a sensitive topic in our society today. There are some who have fears and apprehensions with regards to speaking out against some of the injustices that many of us face today.
Task:
You will create a PowerPoint Presentation using the PPA, which will explore the fear of participation in socially conscious activities.
Process:
*Students will be divided into six groups of four. Each student will be responsible for identifying and using two of the listed steps indicated in the PPA.
*Students will then work on chrome books to work on the 6 steps of the PPA.
*Students are suggested, but not limited to accessing the resource websites listed below.
*Students will then discuss their findings.
*Students will then collaborate and create a six slide PowerPoint Presentation (including title page).
*Students will save PowerPoint presentations to their school folders.
*Students present their presentation slides with the class.
