Introduction

North Korea has been training a new type of soldiers.  These are called         “Cyber Warriors”.  These warriors have been disrupting banks, slowing down internet and harming your computers.

Public School computers are at risk!

President Obama has put together a team of young students to help send information to schools in a user friendly way.

Using the PPA (Public Policy Analyst) develop an instructional podcast to help public school students from these attacks.  Specifically, you have been chosen to help Ditmas JHS.

Task

Read the following articles on the current state of cyber warfare.  Research and write a paper on how students at Ditmas can protect themselves from these attacks.  The current policy needs to be analyzed.

Once you have the information, create an audio podcast explaining what students can do to protect themselves from cyber-attacks.

(Note: If you are using an Apple Computer “Garage Band” is part of the O/S.

If you are using a PC you may want to download “Audacity” for free. Just click the link above.)

Part II.Step 2:

Students will then upload the PODCAST on the Student Council Web Site.

This will help “Audio” learners to understand the information.

Part II.Step 3:

This audio podcast may be translated in multiple languages.

As a courtesy to ESL students or non-English speaking parents.
