INTRODUCTION: 

Albert Gore, 45th vice president of the United States and environmental activist, earned the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on climate change.  His documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, revealed the detrimental changes to planet Earth.  Since the introduction of climate change, experts have warned and documented many causes and effects of climate change, one being animal agriculture.  There is an urgency for global awareness and action for a sustainable existence.  

 

 

TASKS:

     You will create a PowerPoint showing how and why animal agriculture is contributing to climate changes and sustainability.

     Your PowerPoint will be created in a sequence to show the timeline of changes.

     Your PowerPoint will include photos/images to capture changes in climate throughout the years.

     You will work in groups of four.

     You will gather facts from resources.

     You will show evidence of cause and effect.

     You will use domain specific vocabulary to educate your viewers.

     You will follow the rubric provided.

     Your teacher will assist you and must be present if you would like to consult an expert for information.

     You will propose viable solutions.
