“Traffic” in Hallways during Class Change

Teresa Amalfitano

The Problem

The bell rings and you have to get from the second floor to the fourth floor in 2 minutes.  You are not the only one.  Will you arrive to class on time?

Introduction

Your team has been invited to take part in a Student Round Table with the Principal.  Your classmates are arriving late to class more often than arriving on time due to “traffic” in the hallways.

Tasks

As members of the student body, your education is being affected. You will work in groups of 5.  Each group will be responsible to design a Public Service Announcement video to present to the principal to combat the flow of traffic in hallways.

Process/

Resources

To complete this project, you must follow the PPA steps to design a solution to “Traffic” in the Hallways.  Your Public Service Announcement (PSA) must be between 30-60 seconds.

There is a required Google Slide Presentation attached to this assignment that must be turned in through Google Classroom to complete the PPA.

Required Google Slide Presentation

  1. Define the Problem

  3. Identifying the Causes of the Problem
  4. Evaluating Existing Problems
  5. Developing Public Policy Solutions
