Make
sure your presentation is shareable with editing access

Good
identification of social problem with location
·
Good
use of alternative backgrounds/templates to make your presentation stand out
and more enjoyable to view
·
On
title slide, include your name, school, etc…
·
If
using a title which doesn’t state the problem, create a sub-title that does
·
Include
slide which lists the 6 steps of the PPA, this will allow your students to get
familiar with the process when they analyze another problem
·
Make
sure you don’t skip any steps (Step 4: Examine an Existing Policy, advantages
and disadvantages)
·
Make
sure your proposed policies in Step 5 are specific policies and not goals
·
Include
Step 6; evaluating policies based on feasibility and effectiveness
·
Include
images/pictures/videos/hyperlinks into your slides to make them easier for
younger students to understand
·
Find
real data on your problem, summarize if not in an accessible form
·
Include
opportunities for students to interact by asking them questions or having them
brainstorm
·
Add
slide transitions and/or animation
