INTRODUCTION
- Many students are absent or come late to school and miss classes. We are going to do a project to take a closer look at this issue.
- Do you feel like this relates to you? Do you know how many times this year you came late to school or how many times you were absent?
- Why do you think it is an issue to come late to school or what happens if you are absent a lot?
TASK
- We are going to form 2 groups and use the Public Policy Analyst to do some investigation on this topic. We will be creating our own google slide with the information we gather.
|
 | - You will be allowed to research this problem using your ipad. - You will get time in class to do this work, but you are allowed to do extra investigating on this topic at home. - This will be due in one week. |
PROCESS/RESOURCES
- Keith, Marky, Kwame, and Raudy will be in one group. Deion, Christopher, and Jemere will be in another group.
- The following are acceptable to use for this project. Newspapers, articles, animations, websites, diary entries, interviews, newsletters, Canva flier/poster, Instagram posts, and screencast videos.
Keep your answers on this organizer. You will then use the information to complete the assignment.
