Lateness has become a major problem at P.S.28 Wright Brothers School. Student lateness leads to academic failure, low achievement levels on standardized examinations and even an increase level of dropout rates. There are many lateness polices that have been implemented across the city. At P.S. 28 we need to stand up against lateness and make a change!

You have been given an opportunity, in this web quest, to examine the problem of lateness and devise public policies that will address the problem.

You will be assigned a role in your group that will assist our Principal. With your group, you will carefully examine the issue and find policies that can be implemented in P.S.28. You will submit your findings to the principal to present at the next committee meeting. Good luck and let’s make a difference!
