FIELDTRIP TO ST. MARIE AMONG THE IROQUOIS MUSEUM Sainte Marie among the Iroquois Museum is a recreation of the French mission that once stood on the shores of Onondaga Lake (in what is now Liverpool, NY) from 1656—1658.  Jonathan Anderson has arranged a special tour for teachers that he and some of his colleagues from the museum’s staff or volunteers will conduct.  Through the use of appropriate artifacts and a tour of the various sections of the museum, teachers will learn firsthand about the 17th Century culture of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), the French and their interactions and meetings there.
