Introductory activity

In your notebook, write down five characteristics or qualities that are essential to being a good American history teacher.

Select someone you do not know, introduce yourself, compare lists, and form a consensus of five most essential. Then, several lists will be briefly discussed in terms of how Project HISTORY can help improve those qualities in our participants.
