Special Tour of OHA includes presentations related to our Civil War Theme for August 23—24: on topics such as the Underground Railroad Exhibit, the Jerry rescue film, the Freedom Bound multimedia presentation, and “Faces” (carvings discovered in the basement of the Mission restaurant which was formerly an abolitionist church).  The special tour will end with Scott Peal, OHA’s Education Director, doing an interpretation of abolitionist Samuel May.   (It is hoped that this experience will encourage teachers to bring their students to the OHA during the school year).
