The Texas v. Johnson Decision:
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Johnson in this case. The Court in a 5-4 ruling said that the Texas law violated the First Amendment as applied to Johnson's act since it determined that the prosecution of Johnson was directly related to expression.
