The Court should rule with the school. The prayer that was recited each day was,
noncompulsory, nondenominational, and nonproselytizing. The prayer would permit
students to share in the spiritual heritage of the nation.
Argument #2
The Court should rule in favor of the students. This violates the Establishment
Cause of the First Amendment which calls for the separation of church and state.
The prayer is religious in nature and the Board of Regents have no business
writing prayers for students.
