Science: 

                Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC):  A very well-curated collection of K to 8 science-related resources (i.e. videos, games, ebooks, apps).  Teachers can filter by grade, type and/or topic to find specific materials for students.                    (https://ssec.si.edu/explore-our-curriculum-resources)

 

ELA: 

Project Gutenberg:  Thousands of free books which can be read online or downloaded to your tablet/phone/reader.  If the copyright of the work is expired (pre-1923) then it is in the public domain and probably found on this site.  So everything from the Bible, to the complete works of William Shakespeare and Charles Dickens are accessible.  Books are searchable by title or author.  (http://www.gutenberg.org/)

 

Math: 

Khan Academy:  A free website where students can watch videos and take quizzes on hundreds of topics from early math to advanced calculus.  Teachers can manage students’ progress and assign topics until students achieve mastery in them.  Mostly known for math and science resources, they are continuously adding other subjects as well.  Students receive badges as they progress through the topics.  (https://www.khanacademy.org/)

 

Social Studies: 

OurDocuments:  A government created website with links to full texts of 100 important documents in American history.  Included among the documents are treaties, landmark Supreme Court decisions, important legislation and historic speeches. Besides the text of these primary source documents are high resolution pdf images of the actual document. (https://www.ourdocuments.gov/index.php?flash=true&)
