Rules
Teams consist of 23 active players and 4 reserves distributed as follows;

2 catchers
1 first baseman
1 second baseman
1 shortstop
1 third baseman
1 cornerman (a first baseman or a third baseman)
1 middleman (a second baseman or a shortstop)
5 outfielders
1 utility player (any position)
7 pitchers (starters or relievers)
2 relief pitchers
4 reserves (any position)

We will use the ESPN’s rules to determine position eligibility.
We are using ESPN's player eligibility rules, so rookies will be designated at the position they begin at.
Any player can be put in at Utility. Any player (including minor leaguer, hurt player or player not currently with a team) can be picked up as free agent
and put on one's reserve roster no matter how few games they have played. Pitchers are exempt, so long as you have two relievers who qualify. For the first
period of the season you must have a complete active roster that you drafted. Your nine active pitching slots must combine for at (5 IP x Games in a season)
IP during the season or else you will finish at the bottom of ERA and WHIP. So if 162 games are played, you must have a minimum of 810 IP. If only 81 games
are played, you must have a minimum of 405 IP.

The ten categories used will be;
Batting Categories: On Base Percentage, Home Runs, RBIs, Runs, Stolen Base
Pitching Categories: ERA ((ER*9)/IP), Ratio ((BB+H)/IP), Ks, Saves, Wins
[Note: pitchers batting stats and hitters pitching stats do not count]

[We will go by the ESPN periods once the season starts]

Moves (reserve/active, and trades with other teams) need to be made BEFORE the first game is played on Monday at the start of a new period. All internal
roster moves are free. Trades are $1 per player. You are responsible for setting your own roster each week. We will use the ESPN Free Agent Acquisition
Budget (FAAB) for free agent pick ups ($1 per player picked up/dropped) on Wednesday and Sunday nights.
[The following two items do not apply in 2020]
You must play the first period with the team you drafted. No trades or pick ups until Sunday April 10.

You can make trades on your own, but please be aware that all trades are final.

No trades may be made after the trade deadline August 30), but free agents can be picked up.

All transactions in our league must be done with the integrity of the league in mind. No money or other things can be involved in any trade between teams.
Startup fee is $27.

At the end of the season all the fees and moves will be added up and divided as follows:

                                15 Teams
                                1st Place = 40% of total pot
                                2nd Place = 20% of total pot
                                3rd Place = 15% of total pot
                                4th Place = 10% of total pot
                                5th Place = 10% of total pot
                                6th Place = 5% of total pot
                                7th Place = 0
                                8th Place = -$ 4
                                9th Place = -$ 8
                                10th Place = -$12
                                11th Place = -$16
                                12th Place = -$20
                                13th Place = -$24

If each MLB team plays at least 60% of scheduled games then the season will count as a full season. So for a 162 game schedule, 97 games must be played.
